You may have noticed that we’ve had a bit of a change around here at Minkylicous. There’s something new about the website, and we have a few other new things happening.
New Owner
A couple of weeks back, Rebecca who founded and ran Minkylicious moved onto something new of her own, and I, Kelly, took over. I’ve long been a fan of the lovely fabric here at Minkylicious, and I thought that perhaps I could bring something new to the business by taking over. So here I am.
New Website
One of the major new ‘something new’ things that you may have noticed is that we’ve now got a new website. It’s still a little bit of a work in process, but we’d love any feedback that you’ve got about it. Good or bad, let us know what you like and don’t like. As with all new things, there may the odd teething problem, so if there is anything please tell us.
Things that don’t change
While we are planning on adding new products to the range in the coming months, don’t be concerned that in this tide of ‘something new’ we will be loosing track of what we’ve always done. We’re planning on continuing to stock a great range of minky fabric right here in New Zealand, including the Lil Bummaz tie dye minky range.
This something new
There is another something new that we’re now working on, and that’s a regular blog. This first post is just an introduction, but over the coming weeks we’re planning on adding a post a week with hints, tips and tutorials for using your minky fabric and the other products that we’ll be stocking. Everything from sewing with minky to making your own nappies and heaps in between. We’ve also got a guest post lined up already, and I’m hoping to get a few more on board too.
