I’ve been thinking about making minky hats and scarves this week. The winter seems to have arrived a little bit earlier than usual and it’s cold. My children could do with some new winter gear. I thought I’d share some of the patterns and tutorials I’ve found for hats and scarves. All of which would be lovely and toasty made out of minky fabric.

Minky fabric

Most of these hats and scarves are designed to be made out of fleece, but will work just as well out of minky fabric. Both are knit polyester fabrics which will help keep you warm. The minky makes them look a little fancier. Feel warm and snuggly with any of our smooth minky fabrics. For a little bit of extra warmth, then try some of our super plush minky.
