Many people who start out with snap pliers move onto snap presses once they are doing more snaps. Presses are also ideal for anyone who is making items to sell. The DK – 93 manual press is one of the more popular KAM snap presses. It is easy to use and with screw in die sets, it is easy to set up too. You will need to get separate dies for each size of snap that you wish to attach. The size 20 is the most popular size of snap that is most often used on cloth nappies and other items. The size 16 or 14 snaps are used on smaller items, such as baby clothing or sometimes on bibs. Size 22 snaps are larger and used on more heavy duty items, as well as some brands of cloth nappies.

Easy to install

The die sets are easy to install. Simply screw in the piece of the die for either the stud or the socket of the snap, depending which you wish to use. Then snap the piece of your snap into the die set. The cap of the snap is placed in the bottom piece of the die set which sits at the bottom of the press. You are now ready to attach your snaps.
