KAM snaps
Cloth nappies, menstrual pads, and bibs are some of the many items that you can use Kam snaps on. They are a firm, reliable closure system, and are what most professional cloth nappy manufacturers use. These are trusted all over the world. Snaps are a reliable way to add fastenings to your cloth nappies and other projects. Available in a range of colours (please see our other listing for details of colours currently in stock) and in different sizes.
For cloth nappy use, most people use size 20 resin snaps, which is the usual size that we stock. Our Kam snap pliers work on size 16, 20 and 22 snaps.
Snap Pliers
Kam snap pliers are an easy to use and portable way to fasten snaps to items. For people just starting out, who don’t want the expense of a larger snap press or do not have room for one, then snap pliers are ideal. Many cloth nappy makers use snap pliers for some years without needing to move onto a snap press, and in some cases continue to use their snap pliers for some jobs even if they have a snap press. They are also a great choice if you are sewing for your own use at home. Not recommended for commercial use.
Each set of pliers come with three different sized dies for the different sized snaps, a screwdriver and awl for poking a hole into the fabric and making fixing the snap easier.
