An exclusive Facebook Group for Minkylicious customers, is something that I’ve been considering for a while now. This week I took the plunge and set one up. There are heaps of groups on Facebook though, so why should you join another?
Exclusive offers
One of the great things about having an online group, just for customers of Minkylicious, is that I can share exclusive offers. I’ve already set up a code with a 10% discount for all members. Over the coming months I’ll be also sharing one off offers and specials. This might be an offer on a particular item, free shipping or even a site wide discount. Whatever the offer, this will be something that will ONLY be available to members of the group.
Sales
I have a number of things that I want to offer on sale. Some of these are ends of line products, or items that I only have a small amount of. I have some fabrics that are smaller than my usual cuts or widths. From time to time I have ends of rolls or fabric with small faults in it. The fabric is fine to use, but I can’t really sell it as normal on the website. I will be offering these items on the facebook group for people to purchase.
Free Sewing Patterns
For some time now I have been planning on developing a few free sewing patterns. Everything from baby bibs and cloth sanitary pads to nappies and bags. I will be offering them on the minkylicious website eventually, but I will need people to test them out for me first. As a member of the group you will have first access to them and the chance to try them before anyone else.
