There are heaps of five minute snap fixes that you can do with your kam snap pliers. Here is a round up of some of my favourite little jobs that you can use your snap pliers for. Snap pliers are light weight and easy to use, which makes them ideal for fixing some of those niggling little problems.
Snap plier jobs
- Attach your duvet inner to the cover, to stop it slipping down in the night.
- Put snaps on a ribbon to make a simple loop to attach toys to a pushchair or pram.
- Make a waterproof cover and secure it around a mattress using snaps.
- Replace missing buttons from children’s pyjamas’s or other clothing.
- Attach to the bottom of a sleeping bag and half way up, so that you can fold the bottom up to make it shorter for a small child.
- Make a cable tidy for your charging cables.
- Add to a small piece of fabric or ribbon to make a tape measure holder; keeps it wound up and stops it unravelling.
- Use snaps on the end of sleeves and on gloves or mittens, so that you can attach them to your child’s coat and they won’t get lost.
- Snaps on a tea towel and length of ribbon, makes an easy way to hang your towels.
- Make a reusable lunch wrap.
- Replace worn out velcro on shoes and sandals.
- Turn a t-shirt into a nursing top.
- Make removable name labels, by writing on a piece of fabric or ribbon, and using a snap to turn it into a loop.
