Our awl is perfect for poking holes in fabric. Ideal for use with our KAM snap pliers, this handy tool makes attaching snaps easy.

With a sharp metal point, for making holes in fabric and other lightweight items. It has a plastic handle for easy use. A handy addition to your sewing kit.

For use with snap pliers

Our snap pliers come with an awl, but you might find that you need an extra one (just in case you loose the first). When attaching snaps, you’ll find it much easier if you use this to make a hole in the fabric, then simply push the point of the cap through before attaching the stud or socket using your snap pliers. Using it makes the process easier and makes it easier to be accurate and neat with your snap positioning.

Our awl comes with a pink, green or yellow plastic handle. We usually send these out with a random colour selection, but if you want a particular colour, please let us know and I’ll do my best to send you your selection.
