Uses for snap pliers
When it comes to uses for snap pliers, there are heaps of things that you can use them for, I’ve added kam snaps to a huge range of things that I’ve made, and used them to mend or alter things that I’ve already got. Here are a few things I’ve used them for, or that you could use them for:
- cloth nappies
- bib fastenings
- baby clothing
- replacing snaps on the bottom of duvet covers
- a home made wallet
- bags
- clothing
- attaching things together so they don’t get lost
- Decoration
- ‘Eyes’ on a toy
Decorative snaps
Kam snaps don’t have to just be for fastening, one of the great uses for snap pliers is to add snaps as decoration. I’ve used snaps as the pupil in the eye of a toy, or even to attach a flower to a nappy that I’ve made. We also stock shaped snaps which are decorative on their own. They can serve a dual function as they look decorative and can still work as fasteners.
